Member[HIDE] So combined with my other post about deepfaking videos and changing your voice, you could potentially clone a person online and do really whatever you wanted. Imagine cloning someone you hated and getting their parents to wire them money, for example, or ewhoring with a fake person like I said in the other thread. There'd really be no way to tell.
Email/phone spoofing especially would work paired with phishing emails and sites to make it more convincing.
I found a few lists with various sites for both sms/phone and email:
15 phone spoofing sites -https://www.techwhoop.com/free-unlimited-spoof-calling/
7 email spoofing sites -https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/deadfake-s...-messages/
5 email spoofing sites -https://www.how-to-hide-ip.net/5-tools-s...us-emails/
I haven't tested all of them but they do exist and are out there. A lot of them are paid but some are free. There are also phone apps available.
If they don't work then search the names like deadfake and you'll find copies of them. If you are code savvy you could probably easily just edit the header on your own to change the email, but a lot of people aren't.
