Steal a ip adress or doing a ddos attack

Hello..

Im playing on a virtual game... and i would like to know how it's possible to get the ip adress of the serveur?(We play on a application so we dont need an ip adress to connect).
Because i think i need the ip adress if i want to do a ddos attack

If someone can help me that would be nice please :)
